The Drug
Evaluation Network System (DENS) is an ongoing, multi-site, electronic data collection and reporting system. DENS provides standardized, automated, and timely data on patients entering addiction treatment and treatment programs. The Drug Evaluation Network System (DENS) received the majority of its funding from the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP). Additional funding was also provided by the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT), Purdue Pharma, and grants from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). DENS is a project of the Treatment Research Institute. NOTE: As of July 1, 2004, funding of the DENS project has ended. We are continuing to collect data from participating programs when possible. However, while this website will remain available as a resource, please bear in mind that newsletters, and datasets may no longer be updated on a regular basis. |
